2021 WSOP adds 11 new online bracelet events

Anyone that can’t make it to Las Vegas for the 2021 World Series of Poker when it starts up later this month can still go after a WSOP bracelet in any of the 11 new online events just announced, if they’re in New Jersey, Nevada or Pennsylvania.

The in-person events at this year’s World Series of Poker take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from September 30 to November 23. The new online events just announced begin on October 3 and finish up on November 21.

Ten of the new online events are open to residents of New Jersey and Nevada playing on the WSOP.com platform. The other event will be open to residents of Pennsylvania playing on the WSOP.com platform.

The first event on the schedule, open to New Jersey and Nevada is a $5,300 No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout tournament on Sunday, October 3. That is one of the more expensive events on the online schedule. There are also several cheaper options including the $500 No-Limit Hold’em BIG 500, which also takes place on October 3 and the $400 No-Limit Hold’em Ultra DeepStack on October 10.

The most popular online events will likely end up being the Online Championship and the Mini Main Event. The Online Championship has a $1,000 buy-in and will be played on October 24, while the Mini Main Event also has a $1,000 buy-in and is scheduled for November 21.

For Pennsylvania residents their lone event is also a $1,000 Mini Main Event and takes place the same day on November 21.

October 3 – 3:30 – NLH Freezeout – $5,300 buy-in
October 3 – 5:30 – NLH BIG 500 (3X re-entry) – $500 buy-in
October 10 – 5:30 – NLH Ultra Deepstack (2X re-entry) – $400 buy-in
October 17 – 5:30 – PLO Crazy 8’s 8-Max (3X re-entry) – $888 buy-in

October 24 – 5:30 – Online Championship (2x re-entry) – $1,000 buy-in
October 31 – 5:30 – NLH (2X re-entry) – $666 buy-in

November 7 – 5:30 – NLH High Roller 8-Max (2X re-entry) – $3,200 buy-in
November 14 – 3:30 – Lucky 7’s NLH High Roller (1X re-entry) – $7777 buy-in
November 14 – 5:30 – Lucky 7’s NLH (2X re-entry) – $777

November 21 – 5:30 – Mini Main Event – $1,000 buy-in

November 21 – 12:30 – Mini Main Event – $1,000 buy-in (WSOP Pennsylvania)
